I'm Zhixuan, also known as Amanda (Ama).
With a constant passion for learning and discovering new things, you can find me buried in books, movies and much often, social media. I absolutely enjoy absorbing and creating content whenever I can.
My hobbies include travelling, meeting new people, spending time with my loved ones and lately yoga and pilates.
Background
Currently, I am in my last year of pursuing Bachelors in Art (Psychology) in James Cook University. I chose this course as I wanted to learn more about human expression, relationships and overall gain a better perspective on life. Previously, I studied in Temasek Polytechnic, Diploma in Communications & Media Management. During that time, I was able to build on foundations and technical skills in relation to content creation and interned at Night Owl Cinematics (which was a Singaporean YouTube channel). I went on to work full-time at Vicinity Studios which is a media production company for about 8 months as a Junior Producer/Assistant Producer before deciding to work on my personal ambitions.
Enjoying artistic expression, I started freelance modelling during my gap year and content creation which led to being signed as a model under Basic Models. From there, I focused a lot more on content creation and building my personal brand image and am continuously working towards building a bigger niche audience.
Being an ever busy buzzing bee, discovering new things and keeping up with trends is something I cannot escape from which ties in nicely with my interest towards content creation. The content I aim to create is to be relatable, engaging and if possible, timeless. I do prioritise maintaining a healthy and genuine content to reflect the persona behind the screen and sincerely take pride in the work produced.
